Can you recommend a fan arrangement for an AMD Duron in a Slot A?
The motherboard is vertically mounted on the side of the Tower case, so I need a fan that can be secured in some way. The one provided was inadequate. This is a seond-hand computer which I have purchased and is probably a bit of a mongrel, but it interests me…
guess you’ve never seen inside a tower before this all tower mothrboards are mounted that way. and tha oem fan/heatsink on a socket a mount exactly like on a pentium 3 socket 370 motherboard. i suggest you go to the motherboard manufacturer’s website and d/l the manual for your particular model motherboard. it will give you step-by-step instructions how to mount the heatsink and fan.
