How much does it cost to fix your macbook pro’s dvd player?
I have the all aluminum macbook pro, I got it in 2008. I try playing dvd’s on my macbook pro, but it’ll start spinning and try to read it, then it would stop and spit the dvd back out. CDs work fine, like I’m able to play music CDs and retrieve files from CDs, it’s only DVDs that I have a problem with. My only question is how much is the cost to get it fixed at the apple store?
Before you try to have it fixed at the apple store, try getting one of those CD/DVD lens cleaning disks. That fixed the same problem for me, and was much cheaper than having the drive repaired/replaced.
