Sony vaio vgn fe780g laptop needs a new lcd and some other?
I bought this laptop about 5 months ago and my son broke the lcd along with that black trim or bezel that goes around it..Its hard to find another used lcd for this model. My question is there another compatible notebook that I can take the lcd and put it in this one. My model is sony vaio vgn fe780g. please let me know thanks guys
do this repair all the time and NO, can’t switch. keep checking Ebay for screen. Research the hinges. If they are the type that go up through the unit, hinges themselves could cost over $100. unfortunately sony will be more expensive but expect to pay at least $200-300 minimum for full screen replacement part.
