How do I install a windows program from a DVD disk on an iMAC using Parallels desktop?

I want to install a windows program from a DVD disk. I am using Parallels desktop on an iMAC. Whenever I try to install the program I get a message which says I can’t run the DVD because I do not have a DVD decorder installed. How do I get this program to run so I can install it in windows. When I go to my computer it does not show the DVD drive as an option.

Buy a MAC program. If you want Windows, then BUY a Windows PC. You are only asking for trouble by mixing Windows with a MAC.
