Whats the difference between Intel Pentium Dual Core 3400 and Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor T4400?
I just want to know whats the difference between Intel Pentium Dual Core 3400 and Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor 4400. Best Buy is selling laptops and I come across this two laptops with different processor type. I want any opinion from you, if you can help me with this.
Looks like a few differences are clock speed (2.16 GHz for the T3400, 2.2 GHz for the T4400) and front side bus speed (667 MHz for the T3400, 800 MHz for the T4400). However, a big difference is that the T4400 is built on a 45 nm process, while the T3400 is built on a 65 nm process.
If possible, I’d go with the T4400, if the price increase isn’t huge.
